Fatal accident on Lake Pueblo State Park claims woman's life.
A woman tragically lost her life in a boating incident at Lake Pueblo State Park, as reported by Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW). The incident involved a powered watercraft and contact with the engine propeller near Denver Cove. Emergency responders were called to the scene after a 911 call was made around 4:00 p.m. A Park Ranger patrol boat accompanied the victim's boat to the North Shore Marina, where additional Rangers and Pueblo West Firefighters were present. Despite efforts to save the woman, she passed away from her injuries. The Pueblo County Coroner's Office officially declared her death at 5:14 p.m. The authorities are investigating the situation.
