Fatal accident on I-94 claims life of Hysham resident
An 86-year-old man from Hysham tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 94 near Rosebud. The crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. at mile marker 106. The driver, who was the sole occupant of a Toyota Tacoma traveling eastbound, veered off the highway, then overcorrected, crossed the centerline, and rolled the truck. Unfortunately, the driver, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, was ejected from the vehicle and passed away at the scene. It was noted that the driver was not wearing a seat belt, and alcohol is suspected to have played a role in the accident, as per the Montana Highway Patrol.
