Fatal accident on Beatties Ford Road in Huntersville
In Huntersville, North Carolina, a tragic incident occurred on Friday as a second person lost their life on the town's roads. According to Medic reports, a fatal crash took place on Beatties Ford Road, resulting in one person's death and another person sustaining serious injuries. The accident, which occurred around 2:30 p.m. in the 13000 block of Beatties Ford Road, led to the closure of the road between McIlwaine Road and Jim Kidd Road for several hours. Thankfully, the road was later reopened on Friday evening following the investigation of this unfortunate event. Prior to this incident, another individual had lost their life earlier that day while crossing Gilead Road on foot near Interstate 77.
