Fatal accident on Atlantic City Expressway claims life of South Jersey resident, according to NJ State Police
A tragic accident occurred on Friday on the Atlantic City Expressway in Winslow Township, Camden County, resulting in the death of a 31-year-old construction worker. The New Jersey State Police reported that the worker was accidentally run over by a work truck in the construction zone. The incident took place around 7 a.m. as an attenuator truck was backing up to pick up cones from a shoulder lane closure. Unfortunately, the driver was unaware that the worker was behind the vehicle. The victim, who was from Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, was not identified. The State Police are currently investigating the incident.
