Fatal accident on 210 Freeway with box truck
A fatal accident occurred early Sunday on the 210 Freeway in Pasadena involving a box truck, leading to the death of one individual. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision occurred at around 4:15 a.m. on the westbound portion of the freeway near Marengo Avenue. Both vehicles ignited in flames upon impact. A man succumbed to his injuries at the crash scene, but his identity has not yet been disclosed. Preliminary reports suggest a smaller vehicle rear-ended the box truck. The exact cause of the accident remains under investigation.
