Fatal accident involving Valley Metro bus at 35th Ave and Thomas Rd.
A tragic incident occurred in Phoenix as a woman lost her life following a collision with a Valley Metro bus. The accident took place at 35th Avenue and Thomas Road, prompting a response from emergency services around 9:45 a.m. The passenger in the car, 29-year-old Emily Alexis Analla, sustained life-threatening injuries and passed away at the hospital. Another female passenger from the bus was also hospitalized as a precautionary measure. The car's driver, 23-year-old Xavier Jose Manuel, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and was later arrested after displaying signs of impairment. Manuel is now facing a charge of manslaughter and further legal actions will be determined pending toxicology results. The investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
