Fatal accident involving power line in Danville.
A man tragically lost his life in Henderson, Ky., after an incident involving downed power lines during severe weather conditions. The Hendricks County Sheriffs Office responded to a call about an accident with injuries on Wednesday night. Upon arrival, deputies found downed power lines blocking the road, and a pickup truck ablaze with an unresponsive individual nearby. Emergency personnel confirmed the driver, identified as 27-year-old Nathan Merritt from Danville, deceased at the scene. Initial reports suggest that the vehicle collided with the power lines, causing the driver to exit the vehicle and make contact with the live wires.
