Fatal Accident Involving Motorcycle in Acushnet
Authorities in Acushnet have reported that a tragic accident involving a motorcyclist occurred late Saturday night. Emergency services responded to the incident near Main Street and Heritage Road at approximately 10:10 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a 27-year-old man, the rider of the motorcycle, injured on the ground next to the bike which was resting against a building. Despite prompt medical attention and transport to St. Luke's Trauma Center, the victim sadly succumbed to his injuries. As the investigation progresses, the individual's identity is being withheld, and family members are in the process of being informed. Main Street was temporarily closed as investigators cleared the area.
