Fatal Accident Involving A/C Unit at Eastern Kentucky University'a Campus
A tragic incident occurred earlier this week at Eastern Kentucky University, where a man from Weldon lost his life. The 61-year-old, Edwin Burton II, passed away after being crushed by an air conditioning unit he was repairing. This accident occurred on September 30 in the basement of Telford Hall in Richmond. The investigation is currently being handled by the Eastern Kentucky University Police Department, with further inquiries to be conducted by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Despite reaching out for a statement, WCIA has not yet received a response from the university.
