A fatal crash involving a 56-year-old woman from Cape Coral occurred on Burnt Store Road near the Lee and Charlotte County line. The incident occurred at the intersection of Burnt Store Road and Vincent Avenue. The woman, who was driving a Ford Sedan southbound, lost control of her vehicle due to wet road conditions and collided with a northbound semi-truck tractor/trailer driven by a 42-year-old man from Hialeah. Unfortunately, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver and his passenger sustained minor injuries.
