Fatal Accident involving 34-Year-Old Motorcyclist in Des Moines
A tragic accident occurred in Des Moines on Saturday night, resulting in the death of a 34-year-old man. Des Moines police reported that the motorcycle crash took place just before 9 p.m. at the intersection of SE 30th Street and E MLK Jr. Parkway. Upon arriving at the scene, police found bystanders administering CPR to the man. He was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Investigations revealed that the man lost control while traveling northbound on SE 30th Street and collided with a concrete barrier. Unfortunately, he was not wearing a helmet at the time. Fortunately, no one else was harmed in the incident, marking it as the eighth fatal crash in the city this year.
