Fatal accident involving 2 motorcycles in Missoula County
Tragedy struck in Missoula County on Sunday, August 31, 2025, when a collision between two motorcycles resulted in the loss of one life. The incident occurred just past 9 p.m. along Kendall Creek Road, a few miles north of Clinton. The Montana Highway Patrol reported that the crash involved a 21-year-old man from Missoula and a 23-year-old man from Clinton, both riding Kawasaki motorcycles traveling in opposite directions. Unfortunately, the young man from Missoula succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while the man from Clinton was transported to a Missoula hospital with undisclosed injuries. Alcohol involvement is suspected, although it is not specified for which driver. The report also notes that neither rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
