Fatal accident in Wood County
A tragic incident occurred in Wood County's Washington Township on Wednesday resulting in the death of one individual. The Wood County Sheriff's Office reported that a collision involving two vehicles occurred around 5:22 a.m. on SR 582 close to Tontogany Road. Reports indicated that a motorcycle, driven by Jonathan Little, 53, from Bowling Green, was traveling east on SR 582 when it collided with a deer, causing the motorcycle to crash in the middle of the road. Subsequently, an eastbound SUV driven by Paul Turner, 36, from Bowling Green, struck the motorcycle and Little while in the roadway. Sadly, Little was pronounced dead at the scene, while Turner escaped unharmed. Emergency services from Middleton Township, the Middletown Township Fire Department, as well as BG Towing and Frank's Automotive, all responded to the incident. The details are still being investigated by authorities.
