
Fatal accident in western Wisconsin as man gets rear-ended into oncoming traffic
Police report that a man was killed in a multiple-vehicle accident on Sunday afternoon in western Wisconsin. The crash took place at the junction of Wisconsin Highway 35 and 240th Avenue, just south of the Village of Luck, around 1:16 p.m., as per the Polk County Sheriff's Office. A Toyota pickup truck driver, heading northbound on Highway 35, slowed down to turn left and was rear-ended by a Chevy Silverado. The impact caused the Toyota to move into the southbound lane, where it was hit by an oncoming Dodge Ram. Despite efforts by emergency responders, the Toyota driver did not survive. His identity will be disclosed at a later time. Authorities did not mention any other injuries from the incident, which is currently being investigated.
