Fatal accident in southern Columbus
The Accident Investigation Unit was called to the scene of a fatal traffic collision in the Innis Garden Village neighborhood of Columbus on Friday. Two vehicles collided in a "slightly head-on" manner near the intersection of East Innis Avenue and Kelton Avenue. The Columbus Division of Police reported that both drivers were taken to the hospital, where one was declared deceased and the other is in stable condition. The unit is now looking into the factors that led to the crash.
