Fatal accident in south Houston
Emergency responders are currently attending to a fatal accident in southwest Houston, as per authorities. The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. on South Post Oak Road near Highway 90. At the scene, an HPD sergeant stated that a BMW traveling south on Post Oak attempted to turn left onto Benning Drive without yielding, resulting in a collision with a northbound Toyota Corolla. Tragically, the driver of the Corolla, a white male in his 60s, was pronounced dead. No identities have been released yet, and it remains uncertain if any charges will be pressed.
