Fatal Accident in Sheridan on Thursday Morning
A tragic incident occurred in Sheridan when a man lost his life in a crash on Thursday morning. According to Bryan Melton, a spokesperson for the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, the crash occurred around 9 am at the intersection of East First Street and S. Georgia Street. The man, identified as Dominic Fajardo, was driving a stolen vehicle and evading police when the crash took place in Veteran's Park. Despite efforts to provide aid, Fajardo succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash. The authorities are asking for assistance from the public in the investigation, particularly if anyone has surveillance footage of the suspect vehicle in the area between 8:38 and 8:43 am.
