Fatal Accident in Rosemont Leaves Woman Dead, 2 Injured
A driver has passed away and two other individuals, including a child, have been hurt following a collision in the Rosemont area of Sacramento County on Sunday evening. The incident involved two vehicles at the intersection of S. Watt Avenue and Kiefer Boulevard around 5:50 p.m., with emergency responders from the California Highway Patrol and Sacramento Metro Fire at the scene. Both drivers, one in a Lexus sedan and the other in an Infiniti sedan with passengers, were involved in the crash, with one driver succumbing to major injuries at the hospital. The passengers in the Infiniti suffered varying degrees of injuries. The cause of the collision, including the potential involvement of driving under the influence, remains under investigation.
