Fatal accident in Rancho Cordova involving motorcyclist
Emergency responders were called to a tragic vehicle and motorcycle crash in Rancho Cordova on Sunday evening. The incident occurred on Data Drive at 6:30 p.m. The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire Department reported that a driver from the vehicle was unresponsive and received medical attention before being taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Unfortunately, the motorcyclist involved did not survive their critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. Authorities suspect that DUI played a role in the crash.
