Fatal accident in Princetown
The Schenectady County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) responded to a fatal car accident in Princetown on Sunday evening along Duanesburg Road. The crash, which occurred just after 9:00 p.m. near VanPatten Road, involved a single vehicle found in a roadside ditch. Despite efforts from first responders to assist the lone occupant, the driver succumbed to serious injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim has not been publicly identified by authorities. The Schenectady County Sheriff’s Crash Team is overseeing the continuing investigation of the incident.
