Fatal accident in Pacific Beach injures 3 individuals
Tragically, a female passenger lost her life and three individuals were hurt after a vehicle disregarded a red light and collided with another vehicle in Pacific Beach. The incident happened at 9:55 p.m. Wednesday when a 21-year-old driver in a 2013 Corvette failed to stop for the light and hit a 32-year-old female driver in a 2018 Jeep Cherokee at the intersection of 4500 Mission Bay Drive and 2800 Grand Avenue. Police reported the Corvette passenger's death at the scene, while the Corvette driver suffered leg injuries. The Jeep driver complained of pain, and her 36-year-old passenger had a broken leg and femur. Police suspect the driver was under the influence.
