Fatal accident in Noble County leaves 1 dead, another in critical condition

A tragic incident occurred in Noble County on Monday afternoon when a collision between a Ford F-150 and a Toyota Tacoma claimed the life of Duane Condit, 67, from Perry. The crash took place around 3:45 p.m. on U.S. 64, just half a mile east of County Road 160. Condit, the driver of the Toyota, was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the collision. The other driver, Dennis Mittasch, 73, from Morrison, was taken to Perry Hospital by ambulance and later airlifted to Integris Baptist in Oklahoma City in critical condition. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash, which occurred at an intersection about five miles east of Perry. Both drivers were without seat belts, although airbags deployed in both vehicles.
