Fatal accident in Lisbon as popular streetcar derails
Authorities in Lisbon, Portugal reported that a funicular streetcar accident resulted in the death of at least 15 individuals and left 18 others injured. The incident occurred on the Elevador da Glória route, a well-known attraction for both locals and tourists since its opening in 1885.
