Fatal accident in Lake County claims four lives
Tragic news from Missoula as Lake County Sheriff Don Bell confirmed that a two-vehicle collision led to the loss of four lives on the evening of August 27, 2025, on U.S. Highway 93, just north of St. Ignatius. The incident, involving an RV with 10 passengers and another vehicle, occurred in the Post Creek Hill area around 5:30 p.m. Officials reported that all four individuals in the passenger car did not survive, while the RV occupants, some of whom sustained injuries, all made it through.
