Fatal accident in Kansas claims life of Colorado resident.
The tragic incident occurred in Leavenworth, Kansas, where a collision on Saturday claimed the life of a man from Colorado. The crash took place at South 10th Street and Cherokee Street at approximately 6:15 p.m. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by Guy L. Woods, 64, of Fountain, Colorado, was headed west on Cherokee Street when he disregarded a stop sign and collided with a Toyota Camry driving north on 10th Street. Woods was taken to Saint John Hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Toyota Camry, a 68-year-old woman from Leavenworth, suffered minor injuries but was not hospitalized.
