Fatal accident in Granite County.
A tragic incident occurred on Monday, December 8, 2025, in Granite County where a 37-year-old woman from Hall lost her life in a single-vehicle accident on Montana Highway 1 near Hall. The Montana Highway Patrol reports that the woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, was driving northbound in a Ford Focus around mile marker 58. While navigating a left curve, the car veered off the road to the right. After attempting to correct the vehicle by steering left and then right, the car ultimately rolled and crashed through a fence. The woman was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and unfortunately passed away at the scene. As the lone occupant of the car, no drugs or alcohol were involved in the incident, and road conditions were dry, as confirmed by the MHP.
