Fatal accident in Goldsboro claims pedestrian's life
Law enforcement officers from Goldsboro, North Carolina responded to an incident on West Grantham Street on September 13 involving a collision between a pedestrian and a car driven by 71-year-old Hubert Dawson. The pedestrian, identified as 79-year-old William Hardy, was initially taken to UNC Health Wayne and then airlifted to ECU Health in critical condition. Unfortunately, on September 17, Hardy passed away due to injuries sustained during the accident. After investigation, authorities decided not to press charges against Dawson.
