Fatal accident in Chicago on I-290 reported by ISP
Two individuals lost their lives in a collision on Interstate 290 in Chicago during the early hours of Saturday morning. The incident occurred on the eastbound side at Kostner Avenue around 3 a.m., as reported by the Illinois State Police. Traffic was redirected onto Cicero Avenue for approximately four-and-a-half hours as the eastbound lanes were closed at the location. The police did not provide any details about the deceased individuals, and the Illinois State Police are currently conducting an investigation into the crash.
