Fatal accident in Brentwood involving construction worker
A tragic incident occurred on Monday afternoon in Brentwood when a construction worker lost their life while working on a paving project. The unfortunate event took place at the intersection of Dainty Avenue and Walnut Boulevard around 3:30 p.m., as confirmed by Brentwood Police Lt. Miguel Aguilar. Authorities are currently looking into the circumstances surrounding the incident. A neighbor named Tom Gregory, who had hired the same company, Globe & Son Asphalt Paving, for a driveway project, expressed his sorrow for the worker who passed away and for another worker driving the paving truck. Gregory mentioned that the deceased employee was on their first day of work. As of now, details about the victim have not been disclosed by the authorities. An examination of OSHA's establishment database on Tuesday showed no record of safety investigators visiting the location.
