Fatal accident in Anderson
A fatal crash occurred in Anderson, South Carolina, where three people were trapped in a vehicle following a collision between a 1967 Pontiac GTO and a Jeep Grand Cherokee at the intersection of Whitehall Road and Martin Luther Jr. Boulevard on Friday around noon. Tragically, one of the victims, 58-year-old Charles Coggins, a retired South Carolina State Trooper, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other two victims were airlifted to a hospital in Greenville.
