
Fatal accident claims lives of two officers en route to Hyderabad
Two police officers from Andhra Pradesh tragically lost their lives in a road accident while travelling to Hyderabad in Telangana for an investigation. Among the deceased were Sub-Inspector of Police M Ashok and Constable Blesson Jeevan, while two other police constables were injured in the incident. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu expressed his sorrow over the incident, mentioning that the officers were en route to Hyderabad for a case investigation when the accident occurred near Kodad. Naidu extended his condolences to the families of the deceased officers and shared that he had spoken to officials about providing medical assistance to the injured officers. The Chief Minister ordered the state government to extend full support to the families of the deceased officers and those affected by the accident. Reports indicate that the police vehicle was hit from behind by a speeding lorry at Durgapuram stage near Kodada in Suryapet district while the officers were on their way from Dr B R Ambedkar Konaseema district in Andhra Pradesh for the investigation.
