Fatal accident claims life of Oneida woman
A fatal collision occurred in Fenner, New York, when a two-vehicle crash took place at the intersection of Oxbow Road and Mile Strip Road. State Police were called to the scene around 11:20 a.m. on August 28. The incident involved a 2022 Chevrolet Equinox driven by an 82-year-old woman from Oneida who failed to yield the right of way at the intersection, resulting in a collision with a 2019 Freightliner box truck driven by a 22-year-old man from West Winfield. Tragically, the woman, who was the sole occupant of her vehicle, passed away at the scene. The truck driver did not sustain any injuries. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
