Fatal accident: Boynton Beach cyclist killed in DUI-related crash
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is currently looking into a tragic accident involving a bicycle and a vehicle that occurred late on Friday night. The incident took place at around 10:56 p.m. on July 13 at the junction of Congress Avenue and Buccaneer Road. According to the report, Angelo Munguia was driving south on Congress Ave. in the inner lane when the collision occurred with the bicyclist who was crossing the intersection diagonally. The cause of the collision is still unclear but regrettably, the bicyclist succumbed to their injuries at the scene. Munguia was transported to JFK Medical Center for examination.
