Fatal accident as car hits tree in Bucks County: authorities

An investigation is currently underway in Bucks County regarding a fatal crash. On July 27th, at approximately 3:43 p.m., Bristol Township police were alerted to a crash where a vehicle struck a tree on Wistar Road, near Armstrong Middle School. Initial findings suggest that a 2002 white Ford Mustang was speeding east on Wistar Road when the driver lost control, resulting in the collision with a tree. The driver, a 17-year-old male from Levittown, was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center and is now in stable condition. There were two passengers in the car; the front-seat passenger, a 17-year-old male, also received medical attention at St. Mary's and is stable. Sadly, the rear-seat passenger, an 18-year-old female, passed away from her injuries at St. Mary's Medical Center. The investigation is ongoing.
