Fatal accident after hitting pedestrian and narrowly avoiding additional victims

A fatal crash occurred in Henderson, Ky., where a man struck a pedestrian and nearly hit two others. The incident took place on the southbound lanes between the Sebree and Slaughters exits. A report reveals that 61-year-old William Holmes, driving at excessive speed, left his driveway and crossed into a neighbor's yard on West Lake Loop in Madisonville. After hitting a woman raking leaves, he fled the scene, and the woman was airlifted to the hospital. Thankfully, both a child and his father narrowly escaped harm as Holmes continued driving into a neighboring yard. Subsequently, he was involved in another crash on I-69 in Webster County, resulting in his death. Authorities are currently investigating the situation, with Eyewitness News seeking additional details.
