Fatal 4-vehicle crash in Lakewood causes death
One person has tragically passed away, and another person has suffered minor injuries in a fiery head-on collision involving four vehicles in Lakewood on Friday night. The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of S. Wadsworth Boulevard and W. Mansfield Parkway. The victim who died was given CPR at the scene and taken to the hospital but did not survive, as reported by West Metro Fire Rescue. The deceased individual's identity has not been disclosed. Firefighters managed to put out the car fire while tending to the other drivers involved, with one person sustaining minor injuries. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported for those in the third and fourth vehicles. The Lakewood Police Department is currently investigating the cause of the collision.
