
Fatal 3-car collision on I-95 kills one, injures multiple
Maryland State Police are currently investigating a fatal accident that occurred on Interstate-95 in the Arbutus area of Baltimore County early Tuesday morning. The crash, involving three vehicles, led to the tragic death of one individual. The incident took place at approximately 3:30 a.m., leading to traffic delays for much of the morning. Law enforcement officers were called to southbound I-95 near Interstate I-695 to respond to the collision. A preliminary investigation revealed that a Jeep Cherokee rear-ended a dump truck while traveling south, causing the Cherokee to come to a stop in a traffic lane. The driver reportedly exited the vehicle and was then struck by a Subaru, which had also collided with the dump truck. The driver of the Jeep was fatally injured, and their identity has not yet been released. Additionally, the driver and a passenger of the dump truck, as well as the driver of the Subaru, were injured and transported to the hospital for medical care. The authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash. All southbound lanes of I-95 have been reopened, but updates may follow as the investigation progresses.
