Fatal 3-car collision in Salt Lake City
A fatal crash occurred Saturday night on the west side of Salt Lake City, resulting in the death of one person. The incident, involving three vehicles, occurred at around 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of 900 West and 200 South. In addition to the fatality, a minor sustained injuries and was hospitalized with non-life-threatening conditions. The driver deemed as a suspect was apprehended for potential impairment, according to SLCPD. Commuters are advised to anticipate delays in the vicinity as the intersection will be closed for an extended period for ongoing investigations. Initially, SLCPD had reported two cars involved but later updated the information to three vehicles.
