A fatal two-vehicle collision occurred in Toombs County, Georgia. At 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, emergency services responded to a crash on US Highway #1 South near Green Oak Road. A white Ford truck, driven by Oliver Coleman, 86, collided head-on with a white van driven by Yolanda Orozco-Delgado, 71. First responders found both drivers trapped in their vehicles and extricated them with the help of Toombs County Fire and EMS. Orozco-Delgado was critically injured and airlifted to Savannah, while Coleman was taken to a local hospital where he later passed away. The Georgia State Patrol took over the investigation and preliminary findings suggest that Coleman may have suffered a medical issue leading to the accident.
