Family mourns death of 2-year-old in Layton accident
The family of a two-year-old girl in Layton is mourning her tragic passing after she was struck and killed by a truck at a car wash. The toddler, identified as Ada Josephine, was fatally injured on September 5th. Despite efforts at Primary Children’s Hospital, Ada succumbed to her injuries. She is survived by her mother, Angela Hansen, and three siblings. A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to support the family, as Ada's father also tragically passed away earlier at a family gathering. Hansen, who is an army reservist and a nurse, has devoted her life to helping others. The family hopes to lay Ada to rest next to her father and donations are being sought to fulfill this wish.
