Family identifies victim of deadly I-15 crash
In Utah County, a tragic incident occurred when a driver lost their life in a car accident on Tuesday on southbound I-15 near milepost 285. The victim has been identified as Chelsey Carlson by her family. The accident involved a dump truck with a flatbed trailer parked on the right shoulder of the highway between Lehi and Draper. Tragically, at around 7:10 p.m., a passenger car collided with the trailer, resulting in the driver of the car, Chelsey Carlson, sustaining fatal injuries. Chelsey leaves behind a daughter, a son in middle school, and a son in high school, as well as her twin sister and younger brother. Her family describes her as a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and aunt. Fortunately, the driver of the dump truck was unharmed in the incident, as confirmed by the Utah Highway Patrol.
