Family honors grandfather killed in tragic Poway accident.

Roberto's daughter, Yesenia, expressed the family's devastation and described her father as her first love. The collision was severe, causing one vehicle to veer off the road and ignite a small brush fire. Investigators are still determining the cause of the crash, which involved multiple vehicles. Roberto, who immigrated from Mexico over forty years ago, was a dedicated worker at Home Depot and Popeye's, and his hard work enabled him to achieve the American dream of homeownership. His family has set up a GoFundMe page to assist with transporting his body to Mexico for burial beside his late wife.
