Family discloses surprising facts about fatal Long Island MRI incident

The family of a Long Island man who tragically died in a unique accident involving an MRI is accusing the technician for their loved one's unfortunate death. The incident took place at Nassau Open MRI in Westbury, where Keith McAllister, 61, was drawn into the machine by its strong magnetic force and got stuck for almost an hour before being rescued. McAllister was at the facility accompanying his wife, Adrienne Jones-McAllister, who was getting a knee scan. Their daughter, Samantha Bodden, revealed that the MRI technician left the room during the procedure to ask McAllister for help with his wife but did not warn him about the metal-related danger near the machine. Furthermore, Bodden clarified that the technician had actually welcomed McAllister into the room, debunking rumors that suggested otherwise. According to a GoFundMe post created to raise funds for funeral expenses, the magnetic field immediately drew McAllister in because of the chain he was wearing. Despite efforts by his mother and the technician to free him, McAllister remained attached to the machine for nearly an hour before police intervention. The investigation by the Nassau County Police Department is still ongoing.
