Falling tree kills Troutville man in vehicle accident in Grayson County
GRAYSON COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) - Virginia State Police are investigating a single-vehicle accident in Grayson County that killed a Troutville man on March 21. Just before 10:50 a.m. on Friday, a 2014 Toyota Camry driven by 35-year-old Jonathan T. Anderson of Troutdale was heading west on Chestnut Ridge Road near Flatridge Road. A falling tree then hit Anderson's vehicle. Anderson was taken to the hospital where he later passed away from his injuries. He was wearing his seatbelt, police said. Police said the investigation is still ongoing.
