Fairfax police chief speaks on Descano and fatal crash
Fairfax County Police Chief Kevin Davis addressed several recent local incidents during an interview with 7News Tuesday morning. Davis emphasized seatbelt safety by highlighting a tragic crash involving a woman driving 116 mph. Neither the 30-year-old driver, the 27-year-old front passenger, nor a 2-year-old in the back were buckled. The only restrained passenger was an 8-year-old. While the driver and the man were killed, and the toddler remains in critical condition, the 8-year-old is expected to survive.
