Ex-NFL player Kelvin Joseph charged in fatal accident
Kelvin Joseph, a former NFL player now with the DC Defenders, has been arrested in connection with a fatal crash involving a female motorcyclist in the Dallas area. Police reported that Joseph, who was driving a BMW, called authorities to report the incident. The 25-year-old faces charges of driving while intoxicated and collision involving personal injury or death. The UFL, where Joseph currently plays, acknowledged the arrest but offered no further comment. Joseph had previously been with the Cowboys, Miami, Seattle, and Indianapolis. In a separate incident in 2022, Joseph was in an SUV from which shots were fired, but police determined he was not the shooter. It is unclear if Joseph currently has legal representation following his recent arrest.
