EMT volunteer from Maryland dies in collision

A 21-year-old volunteer from two fire companies in Maryland tragically passed away in a car accident in Pennsylvania early Wednesday morning. Joscelynne Pannone, an active member of the Woodlawn Volunteer Fire Company and Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department, lost control of her SUV on Interstate 81 in Dauphin County, crashing into a parked flatbed truck. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The Woodlawn Volunteer Fire Company expressed their sorrow on Facebook, remembering Joscelynne as a dedicated EMT/FF member/employee with a promising future ahead of her. She had recently joined the Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department and was studying to become an EMT at the University of Maryland, College Park.
