Elderly Woman Killed in Muskego Car Crash, Man Charged with OWI
A 77-year-old woman passed away at the hospital following a one-vehicle accident in Muskego on Sunday, Nov. 2. The woman was a passenger in the vehicle involved. Muskego police reported that the incident occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m. on Hillendale Drive. Emergency crews found the sole passenger, a 77-year-old woman, injured from the crash. She was transported to the hospital, where she sadly succumbed to her injuries. The driver, a 47-year-old man, left the scene but was later located at a nearby residence and taken into custody. He is facing multiple charges, such as homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle, third-offense operating while intoxicated, hit-and-run causing death, and resisting arrest, which will be addressed by the Waukesha County District Attorney's Office. The Wisconsin State Patrol was brought in to conduct a crash reconstruction.
