Elderly woman dies in Boynton Beach car crash.
The Boynton Beach police department is currently looking into a tragic car incident that resulted in the passing of an 85-year-old woman. The accident occurred on a Friday afternoon at around 3 p.m., when Jeanne Sokolowski Parzygnat, a resident of Boynton Beach, was driving her Toyota Camry on West Woolbright Road. As she was turning left onto Southwest 18th Street, she failed to yield to a Toyota RAV4 traveling in the opposite direction, resulting in a collision on the Camry's right side. This impact caused the Camry to veer off the road, hitting a utility pole after going over a curb. Meanwhile, the RAV4 also crashed into a curb and ignited a fire in the front of the vehicle, though the driver of the RAV4 was fortunately unharmed. Parzygnat had to be extracted from her vehicle and was rushed to Delray Medical Center, where she was tragically pronounced deceased.
