Elderly Ti man dies in Crown Point car accident
Tragic news from Crown Point as an elderly man from Ticonderoga lost his life in a fatal accident on Lake Road. According to the New York State Police, the incident occurred around 4:07 a.m. on Thursday. The victim, identified as 84-year-old Frederick J. Raymon, was driving a 2016 Ford F-150 northbound on Lake Road when he missed a left turn, resulting in his vehicle veering off the road and colliding with a tree and stone wall. Despite the quick response from Ticonderoga EMS and the Crown Point Fire Department, who tried to save Raymon's life, he tragically passed away at the scene. Raymon, a well-respected retired teacher, was alone in the vehicle at the time of the accident. The investigation into the incident is currently underway.
